"My lifelong passion for animals led me to focus on working with dogs and I haven't looked back since. Beginning with employment at a Dog Daycare in 2010 and then fostering rescue dogs. I had gained four years of experience learning the basics while attending college but I had discovered a deep passion with our canine companions and pursued it. I made the choice to attend an internationally renowned licensed dog training school named Starmark Academy in Hutto, Texas.

During my time at Starmark Academy, I underwent twelve weeks of rigorous dog training, education, and the responsibility for the well-being of the dogs in my care. My education covered various training approaches, dog psychology, dog ethology, and experience with diverse breeds and temperaments. Which was a great foundation to get me going however my craving for more knowledge was insatiable.

After researching and attending seminars my own brother decided to pursue a career in dog training as well which had us team up and start Green Dog Academy in Maine. As Green Dog Academy grew we became known for helping any and every dog as we never discriminated based on a dog's breed or temperament (never have, never will). This created more opportunities to address diverse behavioral issues, from aggression to anxiety and many other canine complaints in between. Now, entering my tenth year working with compassionate dog owners worldwide has shaped me into an accomplished dog trainer, with a commitment to lifelong learning.

I am continually expanding my education, exploring various aspects of human-dog relationships, staying updated on facts, books, articles, attending seminars, and even translating works from ethologists in other languages. My training now focuses on the importance of building cooperative and fair relationships with dogs and owners. The way that I train is not rigid or confined to certain dogmatic understandings of my own volition but to cater to each individual dog based around a wide variety of input from multiple backgrounds in dog behavior and training.

With over a decade of experience, I am equipped to tailor training to each dog's temperament, assessing their social personality for customized success. My primary goal is to teach you how to guide your dog, ensuring the dog understands that they have options to choose from and avoid impulses that have the potential to be harmful or self destructive. My training style is not a "one size fits all" or a rigid system but encompasses the many ways to work with the dog in front me. After all, no two dogs are the same!

These experiences over the years have enabled me to give back to those who helped shape me into the trainer I am today. I'm here to educate anyone and everyone who would like to know the importance of boundaries, clear communication, understanding dog body language, and building a great relationship with your canine. Importantly, I aim to simplify concepts for humans while providing a fresh perspective on understanding dogs.

Growing up with dogs, my family faced challenges that could have been mitigated with education and training. Now, I find fulfillment in helping others avoid similar problems by changing that trajectory for the betterment of the dog and owner.

If you are a committed dog owner and would like not only training advice but a much deeper understanding of dogs in general. Contact me for further information via email, and let's set you and your dog on the right path to a happy home!"
